Ahhh, that feeling of Fall...

We had another picnic in the park today. The weather could not have been nicer! I couldn't resist posting the picture of Jamie. It makes me laugh out loud!!!

Over the river and through the woods to mamaw and papaw's we go....

Dad kept the kids while I went to a hair appointment today. They've got a great yard for pictures but everybody was tired and the mosquitos were out so we just got a few.

Picnic in the park....

Love, love, love this weather! We met some friends at the park today for a picnic and playdate. I got some cute pics of the kids.

On the way to school today, Ava was actually rushing me to hurry up and get her there. Is it April Fool's Day?

"I'm sure I don't want to go to school."

"I'm sure I don't want to go to school, mom." We heard that about 10 times in the car on the way to school this morning but no tears were involved. She willingly got out of the car and said good bye to her brother and me which was quite a nice change from day one. She was happy when we picked her up at noon and expressed how much fun she had and how much she loved it. What a relief! I thought the weekend would put us back at square one. I think my girl might be adjusting!

Cale is 8 months...

I can't believe that Cale is already 8 months old. I don't think you realize how fast time flies until you have children and watch them transform before your eyes. I always find it interesting to compare Ava and Cale at the same ages. He's already 6-7 lbs ahead of Ava at this age. This is them both at 8 months with Ava's bear chair.

First week of pre-school!

Wow, school is a stressful subject around here for Ava. She finished her first full week and it did improve but mornings were not that enjoyable to say the least. Now that the weekend is here, it looks like we'll have to start from square one on Monday with the adjusting. Luckily, she has great teachers who give her the affection that she needs to feel secure. I drop her off practically in tears and pick her up hearing, "Mom, I love school. It was so much fun." What a viscious cycle it is for me! This is only for 2 1/2 hours everyday. I hate to see what full day kindergarten is going to be like next year for us!!!!

Jumping on the band wagon....

I think that's what they say. I've never been good at getting those sayings right(Jamie can relate...ha!). I have had a lot of fun reading some of my friend's blogs and thought I'd join in on the fun. As most of you know, I love to organize. I thought this would be the best way to organize our daily lives in order to better share with friends and family. I am TRULY blessed to have a wonderful husband and two beautiful and healthy children.
